Sid Suryanarayanan is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) at Colorado State University (CSU), where he teaches and performs sponsored research in the area of advanced electric power systems. He holds the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University. He currently serves as the chair of the Students Meetings Subcommittee of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Power & Energy Education Committee (PEEC) which organizes poster contests and supports almost 600 students annually at international venues of the PES conferences.
